Each and every organization to be operating, it has to have its own goals, and reasons why the founder chose to go down in the particular path of doing business. I am saying this because there are many paths in the business world. For example, there is Agricultural path, technological path, educational path, scientific path etc. If as the founder, you have no mission, my dear friend you will find yourself touching many bases; mixing too much business ideas in one organization. Thus making your work much harder.

In order to avoid jinxing of business ideas, you have to have goals for your business. EOL is of no exception, therefore after a long period of thinking, I decided to jot down the goals of Earn Online Lesotho.

TEACH ASPECTS OF STARTING AN ONLINE BUSINESS

Southern Africa being my home continent is still using the traditional ways of doing business. Most people in our continent, especially people from my country being Lesotho, are old-fashioned. We believe that we have to have a physical business not a virtual one in order to trade. But hey, times have changed nowadays. You can even be hired and perform the office job in the comfort of your home.

One of the reasons Earn Online Lesotho was established was to target people who still believe in the old ways of doing business. EOL is aimed at converting such people to believe in online business. Many Sotho people have businesses, but when you try to surf the internet, those businesses are not found on the internet.

Many Sotho entrepreneurs fail to get international business connections due to their absence on the internet. Whenever potential investors try to check anything regarding my country, they do not get it. I can imagine how annoying that feels like. I do believe that Lesotho isn’t the only African country which has little presence online, as a result, EOL is going to try to help people to realize the importance of being available online.

HELP UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE TO START A HOME-BASED BUSINESS

African continent is faced with a massive number of unemployed persons. This is more amongst the youth, EOL saw a gap there, so we are trying to close it. I know it will take time or even years before the aspect of “online business” is understood or practiced by most people in Africa especially my country.

Amongst the people with no jobs, an abundant number is the young people. We are always running with envelops applying for jobs without success, most of us have spent more than 5-10 years unemployed. The question is, how are these unemployed people surviving? Only God knows how the youths manage to eat, or even put food on the table since some of them are bread winners. The way I see it, this is going to take place as long as nobody does something about this situation.

It is about time we learn that even if we have nothing, we can start our own businesses. We have various talents, and skills, let us use them to start an online business. This way we will be able to overcome this beast called poverty.

Some people believe in something when they see someone who has already succeeded. Right now I am quite sure there are people who are like, what nonsense is this, start an online business? With what resources? Where am I supposed to get the skills needed to run a business?

Some people are even wondering how this is possible, for they have no tech. skills. But I would like to tell you that if you have a burning desire, you can achieve whatever you desire. When a baby is born, s/he doesn’t know how to walk or talk. The mother and other members of the family take responsibility to teach that child everything. EOL acts as a mother in this case to teach you what you need.

The most important thing to note is that, the business journey isn’t a walk in the park. It has its own challenges like any other new endeavor. When a baby learns to walk, s/he starts by crawling, then one foot, and the other. Sometimes when the baby tries to walk, s/he falls, but always keeps on trying until s/he walks. That analogy is the same in business, sometimes you will fall, but what matters is if you keep standing up to conquer whatever challenges you are faced with. You won’t walk this journey alone, EOL will be there every step, and other companies that offer free training.

TEACH PEOPLE ABOUT NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS

One of the easy business to get started with is network marketing business, also known as MLM business. This is a nice form of entrepreneurship since you join somebody’s company, sell their products and get paid for buying from them. It does not end there, when people join under you, you earn a commission too. EOL is taking this type of entrepreneurship online; teach you as an individual how to get leads; to attract people to join your business. Many people have become successful by joining this type of business.

United State of America’s president Donald Trump himself, when asked what type of business he pursue if he were not in politics, he said he would go for network marketing business. I read this somewhere online, but I happen to have forgotten where I say this. But all in all this is to say, there is money in MLM business. This time around we shall be taking this business online.
